About Larry Kim, Founder & CEO, Customers.ai
Larry Kim is the founder and CEO of Customers.ai, the world’s best B2C data and AI-powered visitor identification and remarketing platform, used by sales and marketing at companies of all sizes.
He’s been named Search Marketer of the Year from PPC Hero (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017), Search Engine Land, and the US Search Awards. He received the Barry M. Portnoy Immigrant Award for high-tech entrepreneurship in 2019 and also won special recognition from the United States Senate & House of Representatives for his work in creating jobs in the Boston economy.
Larry is ranked the #8 most popular author on Medium. He’s a contributor to CNBC and Inc. Magazine. He shared his entrepreneurial journey–from turning zero boy scout patches into 80 as a kid to an $150m acquisition–on the Founderlicious podcast.
He’s a notable expert on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email deliverability, conversion rate optimization, entrepreneurship and start-ups.
Larry founded Customers.ai because he saw that too many businesses were spending too much money on paid advertising and getting too little in return. The solutions were clear: website visitor identification and remarketing. Empowering businesses to transform site traffic into actionable leads and the tools to actually reach those leads.
And Customers.ai delivered: 5.5x increase in email engagement, 5.5x increase in revenue from email, 10x ROAS, and 93% reduction in cost per lead across its customers.

Why All the Unicorns?
The name Larry Kim is forever equated with unicorns.
What do unicorns mean for marketing and entrepreneurship? Consider the parable of the donkey and the unicorn.
Donkeys are a dime a dozen but a unicorn is a unique rarity.
When it comes to marketing campaigns, most efforts yield little reward. Anything in this realm is a donkey.
Every now and again you come across a magnificent unicorn.
When you find a unicorn, Larry believes you should invest all your time and energy into that. Unicorns are the high-impact activities that drive the majority of results.
Unicorns are a symbol that resonate with the digital marketing community at large. Two billion unicorns later, it’s an analogy that still holds strong.
